Cookies
A cookie is a small text file that a site stores in your browser and reads on a later visit. It holds an identifier rather than personal details, and it is what allows a session to survive a page reload. This page lists the categories we use, what each one does and how long it lasts, and explains how to remove or block them.

Essential cookies cannot be switched off, because without them a login cannot be held from one page to the next and a form cannot be protected. The other three categories are optional. Analytics and marketing cookies may be set by the third-party tools described in the privacy policy; functional cookies are set by us alone.
Consent
On a first visit a banner offers three actions: accept all categories, reject everything that is not essential, or open the settings and choose category by category. A choice is stored for 12 months and can be changed at any time from the cookie settings link in the footer of the site. Rejecting the optional categories does not restrict access to any page, any game or any payment method.
Refusing functional cookies has one visible effect: language, currency and lobby preferences reset on each visit and have to be selected again. Refusing analytics removes your visits from the aggregate statistics we use to find slow pages and broken layouts. Refusing marketing means promotional messages are not matched to what you have already seen.
Managing cookies in a browser
Browser settings override anything chosen on the site, and clearing cookies there also clears the banner choice, so the banner appears again on the next visit.
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies, and Delete browsing data to clear existing ones.
- Safari: Settings → Safari → Block All Cookies, or Advanced → Website Data to remove them for a single site.
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data → Manage Data.
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies and site data.
- Any browser: a private or incognito window discards every cookie when the window is closed.
Blocking all cookies at browser level will prevent logging in, since the session identifier is itself a cookie. Where you want to keep a session but limit tracking, block third-party cookies only and leave first-party cookies enabled.
Changes to this policy
This policy is reviewed whenever a tool that sets cookies is added or removed. The date at the top of the page records the current version. Where a change introduces a new optional category, consent is requested again through the banner before that category is used, so a previous acceptance is never carried over to something new.
